Hand turned unique bowl. The second of two pieces I turned - this one represents the dawn. The gold gilding representing the sun and the colours depict the beauty of the sky as it changes from dark to light. I’m really pleased with the way the stain highlights the wood’s grain. I’ve finished this piece with lacquer to ensure the gilding doesn’t rub away. Its 180mm long x 140mm wide x 80mm high.
